Okay, okay…I didn’t really quit business coaching. I am still super available to help you to grow your amazing business. I’m just no longer going to do business coaching according to the traditional model.
I call it Authentic Courage Coaching. A blend of mindset, spirituality, and business focus.
How is that different from before?
No more talking about how to grow your email list. No more looking at sales funnels and webinars. No more researching Facebook ad strategies. No more focusing on the numbers, the money earned, or the numbers of sales calls.
Because honestly? Looking at sales funnels and email strategies isn’t in my zone of genius. Yes, I’m good at it. Yes, I like doing those things for my business. But it doesn’t light me up to help my clients with those things.
What lights me up? Figuring out what lights YOU up, and then discovering how we can do more of that in your business or life so that you can truly have the life and biz of your dreams. Helping you to release old stories and fears and discover the courage to take your aligned and inspired actions. Supporting you as you claim your unique magic and release any feelings of lack so that you can finally manifest all that you desire – without efforting or forcing or strategies that don’t feel good.
You guys, I’ve struggled and struggled with this. Because what kind of business coach doesn’t want to talk about strategies, and funnels, and email traffic?
What kind of business coach still wants to help (mostly) entrepreneurs…but isn’t interested in the business side of things?
(Um, this one.)
But here’s what I know: if I am teaching MAGIC, the real kind of magic, how can I tell people that they HAVE TO do anything in their business? If I believe that the universe is a place of unlimited abundance, how can I tell people that they have to be on social media if they want to be successful? (I’m pretty sure I’ve never actually said those words, but you know what I mean. That’s the kind of philosophy that’s being pushed right now.)
Isn’t there an aligned and authentic way to success? (Why yes, there is! And I wrote a free book about it.)
Because success IS NOT about the numbers. It’s really not. It’s about how you feel about you. If you’re miserable, if your health is in the drain, if you never see your family, if you’ve traded one job for another (but you just call it something else now), is that really freedom?
If you hate doing #allthethings you are “supposed” to be doing for your business, then you might as well go back to a job that you hate. Right?
Let’s create a business you LOVE. Let’s create magic again.
Take aligned actions in your business. Actions that excite you, light you up, and are inspired by intuition/God/Source (and not by what the interwebs are telling you.)
In case you are really ready and do want to find your own path through the maze of the online noise, here are a few journaling exercises to try out:
- If I could let go of anything in my business right now, it would be…
- If I could get back to my original purpose for this business, I would…
- If I was living according to my higher self, I would…
And then you might also want to do the ideal life exercise. (Still one of my faves to do with clients.) The exercise is like a secret way of manifesting what you want. Just make sure you are genuinely excited by what you write down – not writing what “sounds good” or “sounds successful”.
There you go. Now go out there, dear one, and find your path back to excitement, joy, and love for your business and life again.
